I love the Christmas season. There’s something so wonderful about this time of year– celebrating the birth of our Savior, gatherings with family and friends, excuses to bake tons of cookies, and for some, the anticipation of vacation from the daily grind. And then there’s the music and movies…It always intrigues me to think Christmas is the only holiday with a whole line of music and movies. (I guess you could argue horror movies fall into the realm of Halloween, but that’s a whole other can of worms.) This time of year, I LOVE watching old Christmas movies.
As I am not one to sit and watch movies well, I often find myself working on Littlest Friend projects, whether it’s drafting blog ideas, sketching out design ideas, organizing materials, brainstorming Instagram and Facebook posts, or making some jewelry. Yesterday, I spent much of the afternoon drinking apple cider (thanks, Mom!!), and watching Christmas in Connecticut while editing and listing some seasonally inspired jewelry items. I decided to play around with photo props, and decided to add some wood and fake pine branches to match these images to the season– what do you think?
Stop by ye olde Etsy shop to see more photos and read about the materials used to craft these earrings. I hope you’re having a wonderful Friday, wherever you are!
