Katie Herzig is the coolest. I had the opportunity to catch her in concert not too long ago, and it was easily one of my favorite shows. She has music to fit every mood; from mellow songs with thoughtful lyrics, to energy-inducing pop songs, Katie’s music proves so versatile.
Her most recent album, Walk Through Walls, has proved to be a great soundtrack for taking and editing photos. I’m not going to lie, that process can get pretty tedious at times, and her songs have frequently helped me get back into the groove of working when I start to lose my focus.
One thing I so loved about Katie’s concert was her knack for telling stories. She had some sort of narrative or back story attached to the songs she played, and each time I listen to her music, they pop back into my head. I particularly love working to the sound of her track, “Forgiveness”:
I highly recommend any of her albums. Click here to hear more!
